An established leading UK Insurance claims management specialist who handles claims across a variety of sectors and are extremely technology driven, are now seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join a fast paced, forward thinking specialist claims handling organisation who are passionate about people, have a big team spirit and want to provide the best customer service.
1. You will be part of a growing Adjusting team which will be an exciting time to join.
2. You will work closely with the Field Adjusting Team, a team of experienced Desk-Adjusters and the Head of Adjusting where you will carry out site visits to assess and establish the cause of damage to predominantly Domestic Properties and some Commercial Properties.
3. You will also be involved with HNW claims.
Key responsibilities:
4. Conduct site visits to establish Property damage
5. Gather evidence and factual detailed information taking site notes, photographs, witness statements etc.
6. Engage with the customer to consider the impact of the claim and advise the claims stages and expectations
7. Make decisions regarding policy liability
8. Maintain communication between various parties ensuring a successful claims outcome
9. Provide a high level of technical and quality commitment
10. Utilise the latest technology available to execute the role
11. Quickly respond to queries that arise
Applicant Requirements
12. Property Claims handling experience as a Field Adjuster isESSENTIAL
13. Excellent customer services experience, face to face, verbal and written
14. The ability to make decisions and handle the lifecycle of the claim
15. Experienced in writing scope of works and reports
16. Some Construction experience would be an advantage
17. Experienced in carrying out site visits and investigating Property damage
18. Excellent IT skills and good with using various systems
19. Industry qualifications i.e. CILA or working towards
20. A full clean driving licence
