Job summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Grade Doctor in Sexual and Reproductive Health to join our dedicated team. This part-time role (32 hours per week) offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on sexual health services across Greater Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will providepatient-centred care, including: Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) procedures STI management PrEP/PEPSE consultations With access to expertconsultant support, specialist nurses, and a committed administrative team, you will be part of a service that prioritises high-quality, evidence-based care. OurIntegrated Sexual Health Service, coveringOldham, Bury, and Rochdale, is committed to empowering individuals to achieve positive sexual health and wellbeing. We offerfree, confidential, and non-judgementalservices, including contraception, STI testing and treatment, and psychosexual management. As aLevel 3 integrated service, we combine expertise inGenitourinary Medicine (GUM) and Community Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)to deliver comprehensive care. We welcome VISA applicants too Main duties of the job Deliversix clinical sessions per week, including one supporting programmed activity session. Provideappointment-based and walk-in clinicsfor: Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)procedures Testing and management of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), includingPEPSE and PrEP consultations Conductbooked appointmentsfrom clinical team referrals, GPs, and direct patient bookings, as well asnon-booked walk-in clinics. Work collaboratively within theMultidisciplinary Team (MDT), supported bythree consultants and specialist nurses. Potential requirement todeliver one evening clinic per week. Participate inClinical Governance, Clinical Audit, and Continuing Medical Education (CME)to maintain high standards of practice. Maintainaccurate and secure patient records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping and data protection policies. Support the collection and management ofhigh-quality clinical data, ensuring adherence to national standards.
