Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised nuclear medicine research radiographer/ technologist who can effectively deal with the busy demands of a research active imaging department. Our team is multidisciplinary, and you will be working alongside professors, clinical fellows, senior research associates, and PhD students. We are a world-renowned nuclear medicine team and ardently uphold the trust’s strategy of “delivering world leading research and innovation”. We need a robust radiographer/ technologist to help deliver an efficient nuclear medicine research portfolio.
Main duties of the job
Our team is social, friendly, and determined to get the work done. We all play our part to ensure we provide a research service that is safe, ethically focused, and well managed in terms of data management efficiency. This role is full time and for a fixed 1-year contract, that renews yearly based on R&D funding. We would welcome applicants who are interested in a secondment to this position.

Knowledge & Qualifications
* Registered Allied Health Professional (HCPC) or Registered with or working towards the Register of Clinical Technologist (RCT) (Institute of Physics & Engineering in Medicine IPEM) - Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Note preference given to candidates who already have a valid RCT registration certificate.
* Research experience
* Principles of Good Clinical Practice
* Data Protection
* Educated to Masters/PhD level
* Leadership Qualification
* Good knowledge of scientific conduct of clinical research including the planning, coordination, and conduct of clinical trials
* Research Governance Framework Legislation
Experience
* Experience of clinical research
* Patient recruitment and consenting experience
* Ability to collect and analyse data
* Experience in teaching
