An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dynamic educator to join Heron Hall Academy as Second in Charge of the Science Department, supporting both our secondary school and sixth form.
As the Second in Charge of Science, you will collaborate within our team to lead on the Science curriculum within the academy. Harnessing your natural flair for delivering creative and dynamic lessons, you will inspire and motivate all students to excel in their scientific endeavours. With excellent communication skills, you will work collaboratively with the Head Teacher, SLT team, and your direct team to ensure the delivery of exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
The successful candidate will lead on the Science curriculum within the academy; deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons that captivate and motivate students; collaborate closely with colleagues and senior leadership to maintain high standards of teaching and learning; provide leadership and support to colleagues within the Science department; foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered.
