This role is one of real importance for my client; they are in need of a Site Manager with modular experience to come on board for their health care project based in Norfolk.
About the role:
The cabins are coming to site pre-built, so the cabins will then need to be installed safely. My client requires a Site Manager to work collaboratively to fully understand the requirements and complete the project.
Responsibilities for the Site Manager:
* Responsibility for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
* Key liaison with the client, ensuring the client is regularly updated.
* Instruct, lead, and direct the project staff with respect to construction, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
* Effective management and coordination of subcontractors, ensuring all personnel on site conduct their duties to the highest standards.
* Manage day-to-day operational duties.
* Continually improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service.
* Develop and deliver progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
* Build, grow, and develop business relationships for the success of the project.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualification in a trade, construction, or site management.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager role with a main contractor leading modular build.
* SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Card.
* Proven track record of successful delivery of projects.
* Strong commercial awareness and cost control ability with a proven track record in construction planning.
* Technical competence with the ability to set and track project milestones and deliverables.
* Extensive experience in leading and directing project teams and effectively managing subcontractors.
* Thorough knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures.
We are offering between £250-280 CIS per day depending on experience.
