Monday to Friday
8.40am to 3.15pm
(This post can be a morning and afternoon job share)
Salary Grade 15 (£11.78ph to £11.98ph)
Also
1:1 Mid-Day Supervisor
Monday to Friday 12:15pm to 1:15pm
Salary Grade 16 (£11.59)
Both posts are temporary based on funding following the pupils.
Our OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school, is looking for a highly skilled 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in Year 1 with two pupils with social communication and high needs ASD, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We are also looking for a Mid-Day Supervisor to support one of the pupils at lunchtime. Both of these posts are initially until 31st August 2025 and are subject to funding following the pupils.

Our curriculum is set up to explore learning through a hands-on approach that requires skilled professionals to have the ability to promote what is being seen as well as knowing the curriculum well enough to make connections with other areas of the curriculum at the same time; i.e. development of grammar through an investigation or the use of speech. Candidates need to also recognise the small steps that a child needs to take and how this is recorded as part of their Individual Learning Plan. This skilled role will enable a child to unlock their learning and become confident learners – a privileged position indeed.
