JOB TITLE: CAMPAIGN MAINTENANCE TEAM LEAD
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. The Campaign Maintenance Team Lead role is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of small bore tubing (SBT) inspections and hazardous area electrical equipment inspections (Eex). This position is responsible for coordinating and managing inspection activities, providing technical expertise, and leading a multi-discipline team to maintain the integrity and reliability of critical systems. By driving adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices, the Team Lead will play a pivotal role in mitigating risks, optimizing maintenance processes, and supporting the overall performance and reliability of assets in a dynamic maintenance environment.
2. Inspection Management: Oversee and coordinate small bore tubing (SBT) and hazardous area electrical equipment (Eex) inspections across all existing contracts.
3. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians to ensure effective performance and adherence to standards.
4. Compliance Oversight: Ensure all inspection activities comply with relevant safety, environmental, regulatory and company standards.
5. Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with inspection tasks and equipment maintenance.
6. Workforce Planning: Assign tasks, allocate resources, and monitor workload distribution to meet project deadlines. Management of the campaign team rota to ensure technicians have sufficient work forecasted.
7. Safety Enforcement: Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures at all times.
8. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and guidance to team members to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
9. Quality Assurance: Monitor and verify the quality of inspections and ensure accurate documentation of results. Management of BuildMe and Maximo interfaces for inspections.
10. Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. Continuous drive for service expansion and business development within existing client pool and external opportunities.
11. Technical Problem Solving: Provide first-line expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during inspections. Liaise closely with technical experts within wider Global Technical Solutions Team.
12. Performance Monitoring: Evaluate team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
13. Resource Optimization: Manage and optimize the use of materials, tools, and time to ensure cost-effective operations.
14. Document Control: Ensure accurate and timely recording of inspection data, reports, and maintenance logs.
15. Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of changes in industry regulations and standards, implementing updates as required.
16. Campaign Reporting: Prepare and present monthly progress reports on inspection campaigns to management.
17. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance inspection processes and team efficiency. Expansion of the use of digital tools is a priority.
18. Operational Alignment: Support broader maintenance and operational objectives by aligning inspection activities with organizational priorities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1. Fully conversant with maintenance management systems.
2. Strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures in an offshore environment.
3. Electrical and Instrument authorization.
4. Experience inspecting Eex equipment or SBT preferable.
5. Years of experience in an operations & maintenance environment.
6. Awareness of major accident hazards and knowledge of key safety legislation and regulations.
7. Be action orientated, results driven and able to inspire others.
8. Excellent communicator to deliver key messages in a succinct format.
9. Demonstrate good leadership behaviours.
10. Clear written and verbal communicator.
11. Ability to create positive relations to peers and stakeholders internally and externally.
12. Ability to present complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
