Our client, a leading water sector specialist are looking for an E&I Commissioning Engineer to start ASAP on a contract basis in West London. This role is working within the water sector and previous water experience is essential. Start: 6th January Duration: 6 months Job Responsibilities: Manage all health and safety aspects during the commissioning process. Cultivate strong client relationships to ensure seamless project execution and successful handover. Ensure commissioning activities comply with quality standards, manufacturer instructions, and industry best practices. Develop, review, and approve Method Statements and Risk Assessments for commissioning tasks. Deliver regular progress reports to the Commissioning Manager and address any issues as needed. Assist in the development of commissioning plans, inspection and test procedures, and training materials. Provide technical support and expertise to team members. Ensure final results meet specifications and client expectations. Optimize efficiency in testing and commissioning processes. Candidate Requirements: As this role is working within the water sector, candidates will need to have relevant water sector experience and demonstrated success in a similar capacity. Candidates will need extensive experience working with relevant M&E water based assets, including but not limited to: Level Instruments, Controls, Penstocks, HMI displays. Candidates will ideally be familiar with Allen Bradley control systems, however programming experience itself is not required. HND/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail. Complete commissioning phase experience, including installation, dry and wet commissioning. This role is working inside IR35 - however please note for candidates with extensive water sector experience the rate may be negotiable
