Job Summary
To provide all guests with a high standard of service in the bar area. To work to the Hotel brand standards and to keep work areas clean and tidy at all times. To be friendly, helpful and approachable at all times.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Help serve food and drink in the Inns outlets whilst adhering to company standards and giving excellent customer service.
* Have a visible presence within the outlet to ensure all customer requests are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.
* To up sell products where possible.
* Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with Company standards.
* To assist with the smooth running of the Food & Beverage department and positively contribute to the department's targets.
* To perform all reasonable requests by management.
Knowledge Required
* Knowledge of Hotel brand and values.
* Knowledge of the hotel products and services and ability to promote and up-sell.
* Understanding of Hotel cash handling procedures.
Key Performance Metrics
* Positive contribution to the department and hotel’s performance.
* Contribution to the department’s up-selling efforts.
* Attendance at training sessions and willingness to develop skills.
* Fulfilment of job skills and responsibilities.
Attributes/Experience
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
* Ability to work a flexible shift schedule.
* Willingness to be multi-skilled across the F&B Department.
* Previous Hotel/Hospitality experience.
* Experience of using Micros or a similar system.
