Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen to lead and manage the day-to-day operations and performance of the CAMHS Crisis Liaison team based at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and Kings Mill Hospital in Nottinghamshire.
The post-holder will oversee operational management and supervision of staff and support the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality and safe patient-centered care by developing relationships with key internal and external partners. With a clinical background and professional registration such as NMC, Social Work England or HCPC, the post-holder will work in close collaboration with the CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment Operational and Clinical Leads, the Liaison Clinical Lead, and Consultants. As an effective leader, you will communicate, motivate, and inspire others to deliver excellent standards of care.
A key aspect of this role is to develop and implement performance systems and processes and to ensure that performance can be monitored against key performance indicators.
Main Duties of the Job
1. To develop and ensure effective multi-disciplinary team working across a range of provisions.
2. Seek out and develop relationships with key internal and external partners to represent the service's interests and to facilitate the exchange of information.
3. To provide informed managerial advice to the service.
4. To work with the CAMHS Leadership Team to develop and implement performance management systems and processes and to ensure that performance can be monitored against key performance indicators of the Trust and Mental Health, Children, Young People, and Families Care Group.
5. Demonstrate a high degree of professional skill, competency, and knowledge in the area of mental health.
6. Use analytical thinking, decision making, and leadership skills to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
7. Develop effective partnership working with the Clinical Lead to ensure clear and well-communicated expectations of service delivery.
8. Oversight of the e-roster to ensure safer staffing to a service which operates in the acute hospitals 365 days per year 24/7.

Shortlisting Essential

* Extensive experience of working in Mental Health Services.
* Experience of Leadership and Management of Staff.
* Extensive post-registration experience including working as a Senior Clinician in CAMHS, Mental Health, or Social Care.
* Experience in the management, supervision, appraisal, and development of staff.
* Experience of Leading Multi-Disciplinary Teams and supporting effective team-working.
Desirable
* Training in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
* Experience of working with Children and Young People or in CAMHS, Social Care.
* Leadership of staff in Health, Social Care, or CAMHS.
