Reactive Electrical Systems Technician

Are you a talented Fire & Security Engineer with experience in reactive maintenance and troubleshooting? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Fire & Security Reactive Engineer to join us and to work specifically inside of the M25 north of the river.
What’s on offer for a Reactive Engineer?
As a Fire & Security Reactive Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to and resolving issues with fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and other security devices. You’ll be the first line of response for their clients’ urgent technical needs, ensuring that systems are quickly repaired and restored to full functionality within the agreed SLA time frames.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend and resolve reactive call-outs for fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
2. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
3. Service and maintain both fire and security systems as required.
4. Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients.
5. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
6. Maintain accurate records of call-out reports, parts used, and any necessary follow-up actions.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, with a focus on reactive maintenance.
2. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and security devices.
3. Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently.
4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
5. A full driving license.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
