This is an exciting key role within this signature project team, and we are keen to recruit a highly motivated individual who will help us in our strive for success to identify problems and issues facing the Primary Care workforce and demonstrate how digital technology can support resolution of these issues directly and support better efficiencies leading to effective care pathways. The ability to travel to Bristol regularly is a requirement. Main duties of the job Day to day you will be using your project management skills to work collaboratively with the Lab project delivery team, to ensure that information is accessible, and the requirements for activities are available, including human resources. This role will require ongoing relationship management to ensure the Lab infrastructure remains to a high standard, that intellectual property generated by the Lab is confidential where researchers may be present in the Lab, and to identify emerging risks and manage accordingly. You will be working as part of a diverse project management team and be expected to support your colleagues as required. The post requires solid experience of compiling project documentation, contract administration, relationship management, and budget control; all undertaken whilst maintaining close communication with various key stakeholders. Job responsibilities Main duties of the job continued. • Ensure there is project rigour and quality delivery of the project using established project management tools and process. • Establish and manage a defined range of project activity, generating high quality project documentation. • Work closely with the service manager to ensure there is robust governance in place with clear and auditable decision making. • Establish and manage a robust approach to risks and issue management. • Work collaboratively with stakeholder groups ensuring there is excellent stakeholder engagement. • Identify clear project deliverables and track progress towards these. • Establish and deliver quality reporting that meets stakeholder needs. • Lead on communications in relation to the project. • Champion the project within the region. • Work autonomously to drive forward and manage milestones and key deliverables. • Develop and manage a clear project plan, monitoring slippage and escalating where appropriate. • Organise and run project related meetings and workshops. Person Specification Essential Criteria Essential • Write and submit regular project reports for the programme board showing progress against milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies, making recommendations where a range of options may exist. Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information. • Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve a common purpose and realise mutual benefits where there may be contentious decisions to be made around performance or finance etc. / Experience in managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests. • Demonstrated capability to act upon incomplete information, using experience to make inferences and decision making.
