In this role, you will be responsible for providing mechanical design expertise, leading project teams, and ensuring high-quality design delivery. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative and efficient building services solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage mechanical building services design for a variety of projects, ensuring high standards and compliance with industry regulations. Oversee the development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, public health, and ventilation, to meet project requirements. Guide project teams and mentoring junior engineers. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and sustainability best practices. Participate in client meetings and presentations, maintaining strong relationships and providing expert advice. Support bids and proposals, contributing technical input and project planning expertise. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience within a consultancy environment Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, public health systems, and sustainable design principles. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in design software such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit, and AutoCAD. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative and efficient solutions. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or a related discipline). Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) with membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE).
