Project Administrator (Secondment Cover)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Administrator to provide high quality administrative and clerical support to the Chilypep Management Team and wider project teams.
Job title: Project Administrator (secondment cover)
Salary scale: Chilypep Scale 10: (£22,943.36) to 11 (£23,390.38), pro rata (FTE is 37 hours/week), funded until 31st March 2025
Hours of work: 18.5 hours per week (possibly to be increased to 22.5 depending on funding).
Pension: 8% employer contribution
Leave entitlement: 38 days leave, including bank holidays (pro rata)

Place of work: 11 Southey Hill, Sheffield, S5 8BB. Note: during the refurbishment of the Southey Office (approx. March-August 2024), place of work will be hybrid (home and one or more temporary bases in Sheffield, tbc)
Duration: This post is initially until 31st March 2025 but may be extended should further funding be secured.
This is a key role, providing administrative support to the organisation across our two sites, and to project staff. We need someone with the skills, expertise, knowledge and confidence to carry out administration and coordination tasks in a fast-moving environment.
You will have knowledge, experience and skills in:
1. Office and administration systems (including Management Information Systems)
2. Microsoft Office Packages
3. GDPR and data protection regulations
4. Developing and applying new administration processes to increase efficiency
5. Organising and supporting meetings, training and/or events
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal and over the phone with a diverse range of people. With the ability to calmly juggle a wide range of competing demands and work to tight deadlines, you will have excellent problem solving/multi-tasking skills, and a proven ability to work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be able to work both in a team and on your own initiative to meet objectives and develop your own skills.
You will be educated to at least Level 3 in a relevant field (e.g. business studies, office and administration), or equivalent, through experience. You will be self-motivated with a flexible approach to the role, due to the need to work from home as well as in our office bases at times. You will have a sound work ethic and commitment to personal and professional development and an understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discriminatory Practice.
