About Us:
At The Falstaff Hotel, we take pride in offering our guests a comfortable and
memorable stay. Our charming 50-room hotel is looking for an experienced and
dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead and maintain the cleanliness of our guest
rooms and public areas, ensuring we continue to exceed guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily housekeeping
operations for all guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces.
* Manage, train, and schedule a
team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and
efficiency.
* Conduct regular inspections of
rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are
met.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning
supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate.
* Work closely with the front desk
and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experience.
* Handle guest complaints and
requests in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitor housekeeping budgets and
control costs related to labor and supplies.
* Ensure adherence to health,
safety, and COSHH regulations.
* Report any maintenance or repair
issues to the maintenance team and ensure prompt resolution.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a
housekeeping management role, preferably within a hotel environment.
* Strong leadership and team
management skills.
* Ability to work well under
pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational and time
management skills.
* A keen eye for detail and high
standards of cleanliness.
* Strong communication skills and
the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically.
* Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
* Knowledge of housekeeping
equipment and cleaning products.
