Job Description
What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our team in Tunbridge Wells.
As a Senior Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include among others
* Ensuring clients receive efficient and proactive service, exceeding expectations throughout the year. Liaising with Clients, Partners, and staff to keep all informed of relevant issues.
* Completing management and statutory accounts, setting budgets, and understanding the commercial impact on client work. Planning and managing timetables, staff bookings, and the completion of various accounting tasks.
* Preparing proposals for new work and developing opportunities with current clients, assisting in onboarding new clients into S&W.
* Preparing fee notes and covering letters for clients, in accordance with billing policies, for review by senior staff.
* Assisting with cash collection of outstanding debts, following company policies.
* Reviewing and preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory accounts, including iXBRL tagged accounts.

Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To succeed, you should be a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or qualified by experience, with a keen eye for detail, strong relationship-building skills, and technical expertise in accounting standards, VAT, and financial software such as Sage, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Office.
