Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cook/housekeeper to join our team. As a cook/housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our facility. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our residents and guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing nutritious meals for the children.
2. Following kitchen guidelines and meeting health and safety standards.
3. Preparing homecooked meals and snacks.
4. Record keeping.
5. Performing general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
6. Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
7. Making beds and changing linens.
8. Restocking supplies in rooms and common areas.
9. Emptying trash and disposing of waste properly.
10. Assisting with meal preparation and cooking as needed.
11. Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying the supervisor when restocking is necessary.
12. Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
13. Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
2. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
4. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Good communication skills to interact with residents, guests, and team members.
