A&P Tyne – Project Manager
We are dedicated to delivering excellence in our projects from inception to completion, so we’re looking for another experienced Project Manager to join us.
This is a critical role leading and managing unique complex heavy fabrication projects. Could it be you?!
As a Project Manager at A&P Group, you will:
1. You’ll oversee projects from the initial estimating, design, and planning stages through to final delivery, ensuring all technical, financial, and stakeholder requirements are met.
2. Leading projects from inception to timely completion, you’ll manage and coordinate all stakeholders by developing and executing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
3. You’ll facilitate communication and collaboration while monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
4. All will be done ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications, providing regular project updates and reports to your senior leadership team and our clients.
What are we looking for?
1. Experience as a Project Manager in marine fabrication/construction where you have performed under pressure.
2. If you’ve worked with military or defence contractors, experience with MoD single source contracting and SSRO requirements would be great.
3. Strong leadership will be key to success in this role, as well as your team management and vital communication and interpersonal skills critical when working with a large and expanding team.
4. A strong understanding of commercial aspects of projects to make informed decisions while managing multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
5. An APM or Prince 2 Project Management qualification would be ideal, along with proficiency with project management software and tools.
