Contract Type: Permanent Do you have a good understanding of retail, both in-store and online? Could you support an agile retail business, producing a range of engaging communications and marketing materials to enhance our retail activity? This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person to make this role their own. Working closely with colleagues across Retail and the wider charity, you will manage communications and marketing activity for a large team of field and office-based retail staff and volunteers. If the idea of engaging teams, creating and scheduling dynamic content for online and digital tools and coordinating point of sale materials for campaigns and projects motivates you, then this role could be for you!
What does the role of a Communications and Marketing Officer involve?
1. Producing and delivering internal communications for a team of approximately staff and volunteers.
2. Leading on, shaping and delivering on social media and marketing campaigns.
3. Being a key role in project groups, advising on communications and marketing plans.
4. Using Retail’s strategy and business priorities to shape plans and workload.
What do you need to be a successful Communications and Marketing Officer?
5. Excellent writing and presentation skills with an ability to develop creative solutions and adapt to different audiences.
6. Confident IT and digital user with experience of creative content marketing.
7. Experience of using social media platforms in a commercial setting.
8. Ability to manage your workload against competing deadlines.
9. Confidence to express your views, opinions, concerns within working groups.
The National Retail Centre is based in Oxted but the location for this role is open to flexibility within UK for the right candidate.
