Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic product team, focused on enhancing online services and game development tools for game designers and LiveOps teams.
As a hands-on designer, you'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to craft intuitive, user-centric designs that improve both backend processes and the player experience. Reporting directly to the UX Product Design Director, you'll take ownership of both the UX and UI aspects of our projects, by creating and designing intuitive, elegant user experiences for our players and our internal games teams.
What You’ll Do:
* Collaborate within our cross-functional team, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to translate business and user needs into thoughtful user experiences.
* Design and prototype responsive user interfaces that simplify complex processes and enhance the overall experience for game designers, LiveOps teams, and players.
* Drive design decisions from concept to final implementation, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive user experience.
* Build and maintain scalable, reusable design assets and components within our growing design system in Figma.
* Conduct user testing with both internal stakeholders and external users, iterating based on feedback to refine and improve the design.
* Advocate for accessibility and ensure your designs meet accessibility standards by conducting relevant testing and offering inclusive solutions.
* Communicate and present your design vision effectively, actively seeking feedback and fostering a collaborative environment to find the best solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: 5+ years in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing both UX and UI work.
* Skills: Expertise in user experience design, design systems, prototyping tools, and the latest UI design trends.
* Collaboration: Strong communication skills and experience working within cross-functional, agile teams, with the ability to explain and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* User-Centered Mindset: A keen understanding of user needs, with the ability to translate them into intuitive and effective design solutions.
* Problem Solving: A natural problem-solver who can take complex workflows and simplify them for both internal teams and end-users.
* Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices, with hands-on experience testing designs for inclusivity.

* 5+ years of UX/UI-related work experience.
* Figma is essential at a high level, basic experience with Miro, Jira, Confluence.
* Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and designs.
* Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and practices, with a focus on enhancing internal user experiences.
* Demonstrated ability to gather user insights through various research methods like user interviews, surveys, and experiments.
* Experience working with tokenised design systems in figma.
* Visualising the users journey through workflows, storyboards and wireframes.
* Proven experience with applying design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
* Deep empathy for users and a commitment to advocating for their needs throughout the design process.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
* Knowledge of the gaming industry and game development processes.
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies and ability to work within an iterative and fast-paced development environment.
* Understanding of content and gameplay creation process for games or experience in Unity/Unreal editors.
* Experience with creating vector graphics and icons.
