Kit Cutter Late Shift
We are currently recruiting for an individual to join our late shift kit-cutting team at our Wellingborough site, consisting of four ten-hour shifts from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday to Thursday.
Reporting to the Kit-Cutting and Laminating Supervisor, you will be cutting scheduled kits for laminating using a CNC machine, ensuring 100% plan adherence and the highest level of quality produced on a day-to-day basis.
This role is responsible for ensuring customer needs are met, the correct quality standards of work are maintained, and the departmental resources are managed effectively throughout the late shift.

Key Operational Responsibilities:
1. Manage the workload throughout the late shift and ensure work requirements are met.
2. Cut material and prepare it for the day shift Laminators.
3. Ensure equipment is well checked, maintained, and serviced according to company policy; rectify any issues immediately and escalate as required.
4. Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
5. Complete all relevant paperwork and admin in a timely manner.
6. Liaise with the Kit Cutting and Laminating Supervisor to ensure smooth production of current and future work.
7. Report any resource/material shortages to the Kit Cutting and Laminating Supervisor.
Quality and Standards:
1. Ensure all work is completed to the correct quality standard for the company and customers.
2. Maintain the cutting machine in good working condition and report any faults immediately.
3. Escalate any issues arising in relation to kits.

3. Capable of listening to and following instructions
4. Ability to reach set targets within a given time frame
5. Capable of resolving people issues in a responsible and calm manner
6. Know when to escalate issues to management
