The Online Analysis and Insights Manager role involves finding key insights from data sources to discover opportunities for improving Online sales performance across; All mobile products e.g. smartphones, laptops, tablets, accessories and wearables A variety of Online channels and data sources All European markets Role And Responsibilities Your key responsibilities This is an incredibly exciting role where we are looking for a skilled Online analytics professional to be proactively exploring and identifying key insights, as well as reactively following lines of enquiry based on trends and business performance To be highly curious with a desire to delve into data proactively to generate insights to drive CX / UX improvements. The role involves working across a number of internal and external teams and agencies, taking a leadership position in terms of insights generation, analysis and reporting and establishing links with operational, subsidiary and HQ teams to generate the right commercial outcomes. What We Need For This Role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: This role requires someone with demonstrable experience in Online Analytics and Insights, as well as previous experience working with digital analytics tools, BI and CRM systems. Comfortable both working independently and as part of virtual or large teams. Happy to work alongside both technical analysts, broader (non Online) analytics teams in both HQ (Korea), regional HQ (Chertsey) and European subsidiaries. Confident in manually manipulating data to draw conclusions and recommendations. Ability to communicate important findings and suggestions clearly to internal collaborators with varying levels of expertise. Expertise in cross-channel (e.g. web, app, sub-channels), online media, and web funnel attribution data with the ability to create actionable insights from data findings. Essential Hard Skills: Extensive Web Analytics Experience, working with Adobe Analytics, plus other data sources such as digital media and webchat tools Expertise in funnel attribution to analyse customer journeys and optimise marketing performance Understanding of digital and online media, including performance optimisation and data-driven media strategy Highly competent in MS Excel and PowerPoint Experience in using Data Visualisation Tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Tableau) and BI systems Knowledge of the digital, ecommerce and data landscape and likely future opportunities Experience in setting commercial and ecommerce measurement frameworks Experience in analysing qualitative data and extracting valuable insights e.g. verbatim, research studies Experience in using SQL and ETL platforms to make sense of large data sets Essential Soft Skills: Analytical & detail orientated Excellent communicator, willing to challenge peers through questioning, prioritisation and planning. Ability to articulate data led insights to successfully influence their adoption. An ability to work as part of a team, working on multiple projects for partners at the same time Flexible and adaptable Confident and keen to support a high standard of execution What does success look like? Able to proactively and reactively drive key assets from broad quantitative and qualitative data sets in order to encourage collaborator agreement for implementation Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and be adaptable and responsive to commercial priorities Successful in evaluating and analysing data to really get under the skin of how customers are interacting with S.com journeys, content, products and offers. Collaborating with adjacent teams to refine these insights and reports and communicating these to collaborators in written and presentation form, and driving the recommendations forward to be owned by subsidiary and operational teams.
