Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Full time (Mon - Fri, 08:30 - 15:30)
Pay: £83.85 per day
Start Date: 6th of January 2025
We are currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to support a KS1 pupil in a school based in the CF5 area on a full-time basis. The school we are working with are looking for an experienced educator that can support a young pupil on a 1:1 basis. You will also be required to support general class activity through leading small groups in learning. We are looking for an educator with school-based experience that will be able to hit the ground running in this role and eventually build a relationship with the child that needs extra support. About the Child
The child you'll be supporting struggles with engagement and struggles during learning due to behavioural challenges therefore you will be required to work with the class teacher to take a pro-active and positive approach to their learning needs. The most important part of this role is building a relationship with the child by maintaining a positive attitude and providing constant encouragement to them.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Relevant childcare experience
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Capability to build relationships
- Knowledge of behaviour management
