Key Responsibilities:
* The Freight Forwarding Administrator will support the logistics team in managing the movement of goods and coordinating shipping activities. This role involves handling documentation, liaising with carriers, and ensuring compliance with regulations to facilitate efficient freight forwarding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage all shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and insurance paperwork.
* Communication: Liaise with clients, carriers, and customs authorities to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
* Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate data in the logistics management system, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
* Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with international and domestic shipping regulations and customs requirements.
* Tracking Shipments: Monitor shipment progress, providing updates to clients and internal teams as necessary.
* Invoice Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices related to freight services.
* Customer Service: Address client inquiries and concerns regarding shipping logistics in a timely and professional manner.
* Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on shipping activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Basic understanding of freight forwarding processes and customs regulations is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: From £23,000.00 per year
