Street Cleaner Team Leader Grade 3, £24,404 up to £25,584 per annum pro rata 37 hours per week, Permanent contract, working hours are Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm with flexibility to switch between teams and shift patterns as required The Clean Neighbourhoods service’s purpose is to ensure Hinckley and Bosworth is a place with clean, tidy and litter free neighbourhoods where everyone takes responsibility for their waste and the surrounding environment. The Street Cleaner Team Leader will, amongst other duties: Undertake cleansing duties, transport colleagues, equipment, and waste as allocated by the Clean Neighbourhoods Officer Undertake cleansing duties and other supported duties within the overall service Drive HBBC vehicles with responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of such vehicles Provide advice and guidance to street cleaning staff Work in accordance with relevant legislation, our agreed procedures and defined cleansing standards Effectively contribute to the overall success of Street Scene Services The successful candidate must hold a full UK Driving Licence. The Clean Neighbourhoods service includes cleaning and environmental enforcement they deal with issues such as littering and fly tipping, the service requires passionate and flexible people who wish to contribute towards the team’s high standards.
