Team Purpose:
The Linux Team within the Operations Tower comprises of 10+ highly experienced team members who are geographically distributed and are managing medium to very complex customer environments. The team strive for perfection in Design, delivery and Operations and targets to keep the customers delighted.
Role Purpose:
Primary requirement of role is to provide Linux managed services to multiple customers across Europe and internal platforms. The role is a Technical Consultant Linux, who would be expected to assist with design and delivery, systems administration, and operational tasks, participate in projects, create, and maintain quality documentation, contribute to teamwork and improvements, all based on industry best practices. The person will also be on-call on rotational basis during which he/she will be required to work on high priority incidents that could not be handled by L1/L2 teams.
Responsibilities/Accountability:
* L3 support for any BAU task (incidents/service requests/changes) ensuring SLAs are met.
* Deployment, configuration, and management of Linux systems according to best practices and standards
* Ensuring ITIL / Agile procedures are followed, e.g., Incident Management and Change Management processes.
* Collaboration with other team members or other teams to develop, improve automation strategies and deployment processes.
* Collaboration with architects and design team when required.
* Knowledge sharing, documentation
* Incorporation of best practices and standards
* Internal and external projects support
* Ability to work on several customers with different implementations of supported technologies.
* Participation in Service Acceptance duties ensuring solutions are supportable by team.
* Participation in the teams out of hours on-call support rota and be able to work overtime when required.
* Ensure all working time is accounted for within the timesheet system to ensure accurate charge back to our end clients.

Qualification/Certification requirements:
* Graduate/Engineering or RHEL certified Administrator or 6+ years of experience as a system administrator
