Job summary
Provide communications and administrative support to the Social Media team covering a range of duties, including creating content for our external communications Channels: LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Co-ordinating engagement activities with our internal and external partners/ stakeholders; supporting the team with ongoing projects � campaigns, social media employee advocacy support and small business testimonials/case studies. Coming up with new ideas to support the social media team with Acas�s business and strategic objectives. Tracking the impact of social media content output for the social media team.
Successful candidate will work toward Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification which is assessed in the workplace and weekly online sessions with the training provider. The estimated start date for this role is December 2024.
Job description
1. Provide administrative support to the Social Media Manager.
2. Support the Social Media Manager with providing excellent customer service - answering queries from our customers, flagging complaints and escalating urgent queries to senior management. Refer Acas customers to our products and services: Acas advice, Acas helpline, webinars, training and events.
3. Work alongside the Social Media Manager to assist with content generation. Drafting and designing content (visuals and written format) for Acas social media feeds.
4. Research the latest trends/updates on social media and Acas channels: LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram and YouTube which can inspire content generation for Acas audiences (SMEs, employees and employers), content formats and content styles.
5. Provide support to the Social Media Manager, assist with internal training for Acas employees, for the latest employee advocacy project.�

Essential Criteria:
6. Excellent interpersonal skills - able to communicate in a friendly, open and constructive manner with a diverse range of people.
7. Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and be proactive.
8. Highly organised, motivated and able to prioritise workload accordingly.
9. Ability to write to a professional standard.
10. Proficient at using IT systems, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and SharePoint.
�Desirable Criteria:
11. Passion for social media and the communications profession.
12. Experience in using social media tools.
13. Experience in using Canva.
Qualifications
�The successful candidate must have 5 GCSEs at grade C or the new grade level 4 in English Language and Maths (or equivalent)
�You will not be eligible for the apprenticeship if you hold any Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Media Communications, Public relations and Advertising qualifications.
