As a Senior Geospatial Manager at Ridge you will drive strategic initiatives, ensure the delivery of innovative solutions and work on prestigious projects. Our projects include large residential, industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to much smaller schemes. You will also work with interesting clients including, large retail companies, local authorities, Schools/Universities, contractors, developers etc. together with the option to work on exciting overseas projects. Role and Responsibilities Lead and manage our London Geospatial team and help to drive the expansion of the discipline by working alongside Oxford, Birmingham and Leeds teams. Manage the teams resources, report on the teams finances and ensure delivery of Geospatial data to clients. Manage projects and liaise direct with clients. Lead and promote the expansion of our London Geospatial team, identifying market trends and growth opportunities. Liaise with other internal disciplines to promote Geospatial services and to market our services to the rest of the business to secure broader income streams. QA outputs ensuring these are compliant with industry standards such as RICS, PAS128 and client specific requirements. Engage with new clients and contacts to present Geospatial solutions to increase workload, attend networking events where required. Mentor and develop team members. Experience and Skills Required Proven experience in a Geospatial leadership role or equivalent position, with a senior level of experience in surveying including laser scanning and topographical services, both on site and post processing GPR knowledge would be beneficial but not essential. Strong knowledge of Geospatial technologies, methodologies and principles including health and safety matters and pre survey planning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to new clients and to build strong lasting relationships. Experience in writing quotations and bidding for work by utilising commercial knowledge to pitch Geospatial services at the correct level to secure new workstreams. A keen focus on quality with experience in implementing QA processes within the team to ensure consistency and risk mitigation. Experience with working in multi-discipline environment would be beneficial. Further Details Office working hours are between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break. Working weekends may be required in addition to starting earlier and finishing late on some occasions. Full clean diving license is required. The role requires a combination of working within a team office environment whilst also working outdoors on a range of sites. There is a requirement to travel to sites and to work away from home frequently during the early stages of your Ridge career.
