Are you passionate about shaping the future of digital research training? Do you thrive on driving impactful projects, fostering professional development, and delivering sustainable solutions? The UKRI Digital Skills Catalyst is seeking an innovative Research Training Impact Manager to lead a nationally significant initiative empowering researchers across the UK.
UKRI Digital Skills Catalyst
We are building on the successes of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) DaSH Network, a set of projects designed to train life scientists in digital research skills that were funded for two years under the Innovation Scholars: Data Science Training in Health and Bioscience funding call of 2020. The UKRI Digital Skills Catalyst project aims to develop a sustainable, high-impact model for digital research training.
UKRI Digital Skills Catalyst is led by the Department of Biology at the University of York and comprises six other high-profile institutions: University College London, King’s College London, University of Nottingham, University of Lincoln, University of Bradford, and University of Edinburgh. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of colleagues including researchers at all career stages, digital skills professionals, and Continuing Professional Development teams at universities, research institutes, learned societies, and UKRI. This role can be carried out on campus in York or remotely with occasional (approximately once every 6 weeks) trips to York.
Role
As the Research Training Impact Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success and visibility of the Digital Skills Catalyst project. From promoting high-quality training resources to embedding professional recognition and evaluating program impact, you’ll ensure we deliver meaningful results that shape the future of digital research skills training.
