The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company's operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. Client Details Our client is a small/medium-sized organisation within the Financial Services industry. They are renowned for their commitment to excellence and their robust approach to business operations. This London-based firm with an office in Weybridge is growing quickly and is known for their dedication to maintaining high standards and delivering to clients. Description Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures. Cooperate with partners, e.g. legal firms, in multiple locations. Communicate policies to internal parties; maintain and update databases with guidance. Provide training and support on compliance matters. Conduct risk assessments; monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance rules. Investigate and resolve compliance issues. Prepare and submit compliance reports to board Support the team otherwise, as required. Ensuring that all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes. Keeping abreast of regulatory developments within the Financial Services industry as well as evolving best practices in compliance control. Profile A successful Compliance Officer should have: A degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Some compliance experience within a regulated industry would be an advantage. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping. A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality. Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities. An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations. Excellent communication skills.
