ASYE Social Worker We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Newly Qualified Social Worker (ASYE) to join our proactive Integrated Mental Health Team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a Full Time, Permanent basis. The Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) is a 12-month program for newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) to help develop skills and confidence in a supported environment. As an ASYE Social Worker, you are guaranteed a protected caseload and dedicated practice consultant support to ensure that you feel safe and supported as you begin your career with us in Social Care. With your practice consultant you will receive monthly reflective supervisions, along with the chance for additional monthly check-ins. As you work through your first year as a Newly Qualified Social Worker, you will provide specialist social care to people who have serious or enduring mental health conditions, working closely with health colleagues, and focusing on statutory duties under the Care Act, MCA, and MHA. As well as receiving ongoing support and guidance, you will be joining a passionate and dynamic team, playing an integral role as we collaborate with The Health Trust to transform our services and develop a dedicated social care pathway.
