Learning Support Assistant for ASC Unit job summary
Bradwell Village is part of the Inclusive Learning Federation with Romans Field and Priory Common schools. We are a unique Federation comprising an Infant, Junior, and Special School which provides its team members with unique opportunities. We are a new Autistic Spectrum Condition Unit for children with EHCPs, currently accommodating 8 children, expanding to 16 children in 2025. We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to be part of this exciting development.
We need a Learning Support Assistant who:
1. Is passionate about making a difference to the lives of our children
2. Is an outstanding LSA who sets high expectations and aspirations
3. Is experienced in teaching children with ASC
4. Is willing to contribute to the school community and help to improve it
5. Is resilient and patient
6. Is a creative thinker who is organised, independent, and shows initiative
7. Is a good communicator and problem solver
8. Is professional and has integrity and a strong work ethic
9. Is a team player and has a sense of humour
10. Has Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above
The children at Bradwell Village School have requested a Learning Support Assistant who:

2. Is strict but not too strict!
3. Is fun (but not all the time)
4. Knows when someone needs extra help
