Senior Manager – Portfolio Assurance

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Manager.
Role context:
HINV Transformation & Change team will focus on:
* The shape and management of the HINV CTB plan including strategic, compliance & regulatory & all other investment types informed by strategic objectives, client demand and HINV ExCo guidance.
* Running pragmatic transformation governance, (including an Agile operating model to deliver new digital capabilities) and the tracking of delivery and resolution of key issues to ensure HINV priorities are met with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
* Facilitating key decisions on the architecture of digital and business capabilities, in collaboration with HSBC Architecture teams where applicable, aiming to maximize efficiency through reuse of assets and ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions.
* Developing business analysis, delivery management & testing disciplines across Digital and all other change and embed as appropriate to achieve high-paced and well-coordinated delivery of new capabilities to clients as well as improving internal processes.
The Portfolio Assurance role focuses on:
* * HINV Value streams and change initiatives and ensuring they are sustainably adherent with Change Standards and HSBC Group requirements.
* Portfolio change execution risk in line with RTCL framework is identified proactively and managed to resolution.
* HINV Audit actions and MSIIs are realistic, actioned and closed in a timely manner
* HINV Change and Governance oversight management is effective and re-enforces excellence in agile delivery.
* Work closely with the Group Transformation office, Wholesale Transformation, and the wider HINV Strategic Transformation and change team to ensure HINV meeting expectations on Group wide common ways of working, in alignment with Agile principles.
* Consult with all HINV & Global value streams (where HINV is the beneficiary) and in collaboration with all Innovation Banking hubs to ensure non duplicative change standards monitoring and adherence.
Skills and experience required:
* Strong portfolio risk background
* Change framework and risk framework
* Demonstrated success in managing mid to large scale transformation portfolios in line with Agile ways of operating.
* Strong understanding of the complexities involved in delivering transformations within a complex global organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to track and course-correct large-scale programmatic change in global organisations.
* A broad understanding of corporate banking industry, including products, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and digitalization/innovation trends with a focus on the Innovation economy.
* Experience in all types of change and a desire for experience in digital transformation, including design and delivery of digital capabilities.
* Knowledge of HSBC and HINV environment including strategy, products, processes, technology, and people
* Experience in agile ways of operating is desirable.
* Ability to grasp complex business and technology problems and design solutions to address these, understanding of technical design of digital capabilities across the layers of the technology stack.
* Analytical skills to derive insight from large amounts of imperfect data and information.
* Ability to influence a large and diverse set of stakeholders, including at an executive committee level.
* Strong strategic and analytical thinker
* Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to challenge as and when appropriate.
* High level of drive and motivation
* Ability to recognize and challenge delivery issues within the organization.
* Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and problems.
