About Our Client
Our client are a well-known, multi-million turnover brand in the Liverpool area. They are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their business on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will require someone who is fast paced and can multi-task. The successful person will need skills in AP/AR/Payroll.
Job Description
The Accounts Assistant duties include:
3. Processing purchase/sales ledger end-end.
4. Supplier payments/payment runs.
5. Agreeing payment terms
6. PO approval
7. Staff expenses
8. AR/Credit Control; overdue debt, credit terms, cash allocation, bank reconciliation
9. Payroll - 250 employees including: collating, updating systems
10. Payroll audit for outsourced payroll provider using Iris.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Have an understanding of AP/AR/Payroll processes.
12. Understanding of payroll legislation/tax rules.
13. Iris is advantageous but not essential
14. Ability to multi-task
15. Have ability to work in a busy fast paced environment
16. Good excel and IT skills
