We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our customer support team at our head office facility located in Heywood. The shift pattern would be 7.5 hours per day with 1 hour for lunch worked between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday totalling 37.5 hours per week. You would also be required join the weekend shift rota for the department. £25194.00 per annum paid monthly Job Description In this role you will have the following responsibilities: Point of contact for customer related issues via Email and Telephone. Resolve Customer Queries. Ensure all customer specific tasks are completed on time. Data Entry of transport jobs as and when required. A full understanding of Delivery procedures and workflows. Help drivers over the phone and take necessary action to resolve any issues reported. Report any rejections, shortages and discrepancies via the GRRS system, ensuring adequate details are entered to allow investigations to be actioned promptly and accurately. Query resolution through investigation and liaising with appropriate personnel and customers. Process transport requests – Manual, EDI or Pick & Distribution. Allocating stock manually, through EDI or via Pick & Distribution. General office / admin duties carried out within the department. What are we looking for? Essentials: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
