* Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
* Supporting students to stay focused on their work and addressing any questions they may have.
* Reporting on lesson progress and incidents to the relevant teaching staff.
* Collaborating with other staff to ensure students receive consistent support.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
* Has a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people’s learning.
* Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and adapt to different situations.
* Is reliable, proactive, and able to build rapport with students.
* Previous experience working in schools or with young people is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
What We Offer:
* A great opportunity to gain experience in a secondary school setting, ideal for those considering a career in teaching.
* Support and guidance from an experienced and welcoming team.
* Professional development opportunities to help you grow in your role.
* Potential for the role to become permanent, depending on performance and the school’s needs.
If you are a Science graduate eager to inspire the next generation and gain invaluable experience in the education sector, we would love to hear from you.
