Main duties of the job As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary, you will: Work as part of and lead the Mental Health team within the Integrated Healthcare Services team. Provide clinical leadership and management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals. Establish inter-agency working where necessary to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients. Ensuring that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice. Based on the Wellbeing Approach and Practice Plus mental Health policy, provide nursing triage and screening and assessment. Actively participate with the development of local operating procedures to ensure pathways are clear for clinicians Ensuring all complaints / concerns relating to Mental Health are dealt with in a timely fashion. Nurse lead treatment or care within mental health Confirm waiting list are well managed ensuring minimal waiting times for patients Medicines management/advice including supporting medicine administration Set standards for care by implementing protocols and establishing health education activities. Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, planning and treatment of patients.
