Are you looking to join a practice that truly values its people? A place where positivity, support and open communication thrive? At Corby Vets4Pets, they pride themselves on fostering a family-like atmosphere with a longstanding team that embodies loyalty and commitment. Here, management listens without judgement, offers guidance to help you achieve your goals, and supports you in reaching your full potential. With no room for toxicity, we’ve created a welcoming, collaborative environment where every team member is empowered to succeed and grow.
Nancy, the Practice Owner, celebrates an incredible 10 years with the practice this year and took on the exciting new role of owner in July. This is a thrilling time to join the team, as Nancy is not only growing the practice but also leading it through an upcoming relaunch and rebrand. With plans to extend in the near future, the practice is entering a dynamic new chapter, making it the perfect opportunity to become part of its journey and contribute to its continued success.
We are seeking an experienced and self-sufficient veterinary surgeon who is confident handling all routine consults and surgeries. Ideally you will have 2/3 years post qualification experience. While any experience working with small furries would be a bonus, a willingness to learn and develop in this area is equally appreciated.
We’re generous with our CPD offering, which colleagues are actively encouraged to use to further their interests and develop their skills in a direction of their choosing. So, if you want to pursue a post graduate qualification or certificate, we’re happy to help support that.
You will be joining an inclusive and supportive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. The team consists of 2 Vets including Clinical Lead, 4 qualified RVNs including Practice Owner Nancy, SVN who is due to qualify, VCA and 5 Receptionists. Our clinical lead holds an acupuncture certificate, and we aim to set up and run an alternative therapy clinic using laser therapy in the future. Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients.
The practice is set in a town within the beautiful Northamptonshire County. Just a 5-minute drive and you’re in the rural countryside. We have lots of amazing country parks dotted throughout the town and area. Perfect for clearing your head, opening your lungs, and walking 4 legged friends too. We are a fast paced and busy surgery, however with our strong dedicated team there isn’t anything we haven't and cannot accomplish!
Ideally looking for full time hours, but happy to work with you to find a pattern that works for both of us. Currently the weekend rota is 1 in 3 Saturdays with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone. There will be an element of sole charge but no OOH’s responsibility.
Nancy can also offer the following benefits;
* Competitive salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)
* Annual leave - 5.6 weeks
* Contributory Pension scheme
* Private healthcare
* Generous CPD and funding for certificates for the right candidate
* Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)
* Supportive and friendly team environment
* Relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if needed.
* Exclusive company discounts and rewards including High Street retailers and restaurants.
