Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Magherafelt and Belfast
Salary: £45k + van
My client is a leading Construction company based in NI, looking for an experienced Site Manager with previous residential experience.
The opportunity is suitable for someone with 5+ years of experience, including residential construction. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in developing your skills and experience as a successful Site Manager within our Construction Engineering department.
Projects include student accommodation and social housing apartments.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the co-ordination and control of the project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.
2. Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delays.
3. Regular monitoring and liaison with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager on the Master Programme and development of stage/section programmes as required.
4. Liaise with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager to ensure adequate labour and sub-contract resource is available on site utilizing the agreed agency list.
5. Day-to-day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is completed successfully and meets the required time, budget, and quality constraints.
6. Plan and efficiently organize the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff.
7. Undertake all relevant training and development activities as required.
8. Assist in the recruitment and selection process as needed.
Education / Experience
1. Experience as a lead Site Manager specifically on housing projects.
2. Good personnel management skills.
3. Site Management Safety Pass.
4. Detailed previous project list.
