Role Overview Our Group BI Developer will drive data-powered decision-making at the heart of our organisation. As a key member of this team, the role will develop and manage key business reporting and analytics to enhance strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Working with the business leadership team, the role will build scalable analytical models and dashboards/KPI reports that provide the leadership team with the data and insights required to drive delivery of the business strategy. This includes ensuring accuracy of KPI definitions, and working with the BI Infrastructure team to build the reporting and analytics on a sustainable and scalable platform. With the implementation of a new ERP, the role will be working with the business users to ensure that the value and actionable insights available from the new ERP can be delivered to the business. The role is key to driving a data-driven culture, with continuous improvement, and strengthening business performance. Priority Responsibilities Ownership of the business reporting and analytics requirements within key functional areas Ensure KPIs and measures are defined at a granular level, aligned to the ERP implementation and business needs Work with business “personas”, ie common business users across the business, to define the key business questions being asked and develop the required reporting and analytics to answer those questions. Execute agreed delivery plan for the reporting and analytics, with initial focus on reports required for the new ERP Become Subject Matter Expert in functional areas to drive actionable insights, and to drive continuous improvement in the reporting and analytics being delivered. This will require building relationships with the functional leaders for continuous feedback on existing and planned reporting, and anticipating future requirements and opportunities. Build analytical data models to ensure flexible and scalable approach to enable Safetykleen to become a truly data driven organisation. Work with BI infrastructure team to ensure that the data models are fit for purpose for future business development and that the reporting is built on common group standards, data and approach Enable and lead resources across the wider Safetykleen organisation, in particular with Data Analysts in the markets to drive a common approach and enable them to provide insight to the local teams – where necessary tailoring Group views for their local requirements Communicate the benefits of the Data and analytics available to the organisation – as the key member of the team driving a truly Data driven company Baseline Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in business analytics, reporting, or data-driven decision-making roles. Track record of report delivery and creating actionable business insights. Expertise in BI tools (e.g. PowerBI) and data modelling. Experience of using SQL for data queries and analysis. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate the data 'story'. Educated to a degree / post graduate level desirable.
