Job Description:
As an organisation we recognise the value of a healthy work-life balance. When applying, speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate flexible working, so your work life fits around your home life.

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for working with older adults and making a real difference in their rehabilitation journey?
We have an incredibly rare opportunity for you to join our team at UHBW as a Physiotherapist within our Older Person’s Rehabilitation team, based in the Therapy Outpatients Gym at South Bristol Community Hospital!
You will be supported by a highly skilled and experienced band 7 physio and OT, the Adult Therapies Medicine Pathway Lead and Outpatients Divisional Lead. You will have the opportunity to participate in a robust in-service-training.
SBCH is a modern and accessible working environment, and we are proud of the facilities in our therapy gym. We encourage applications from a diverse range of people: if you would prefer to talk through the role rather than read an application, please do get in contact on the number below. Please also let us know if there are any adjustments which may make it easier for you to apply or attend an interview.
Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship due to salary requirements under UKVI guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified Physiotherapist with a strong background in rehabilitation
* Excellent clinical skills in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients, particularly in outpatient settings
* Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding patient care without senior supervision
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
If you're passionate about making a difference and advancing your career in a supportive and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you!
You will contribute to therapy-led falls clinics and the Rapid Assess Clinic for Older People (RACOP). You will deliver strength and balance groups & carry out individual assessment and intervention, either face to face or virtually.
The outpatients therapy gym runs a Monday - Friday service, excluding Bank Holidays.
