The Role
We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to assist our specialized lawyers and partners in drafting, editing and formatting legal documents. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining case files, organizing correspondences, managing calendars and conducting research using online databases.
The role requires a high level of administrative support, including billing and accounting tasks such as tracking billable hours, generating invoices and processing payments.
Requirements
* A minimum of £25,000 per year salary based on industry standards in Basingstoke.
* Previous experience as a legal secretary in a recognized law firm, demonstrating skills in providing administrative support.
* Background in supporting teams within wills, trusts and probate practice.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet and other legal research tools.
* Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders.
