The Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated person to provide operations leadership to the team in our Hallam Branch. You will be passionate about building a strong, customer-focused team that keeps raising the standards in delivering excellent customer service. This means leading from the front, showing initiative, and being actively involved in all aspects of branch operations. Become a key driver of branch improvements and efficiencies. This is not a role for people that like managing from a computer in an office.
Duties include:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the Branch
2. Ensure the right disciplines and structures are in place to drive consistency, cost effectiveness, and practical outcomes.
3. Build long-term relationships with customers
4. Demonstrate successful and proven leadership skills
5. Coach and influence team members with exceptional service that grows profitable relationships
6. Support training and development
7. Make sound decisions and resolve problems
8. Maintain & improve the profitable sales of the Branch
9. Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports and work with the team to action and follow up tasks
10. Aim to increase the benchmark GP%
11. Oversee purchasing & inventory control
12. Manage credit control and recovery of outstanding debt
13. Ensure security & maintenance of the premises, equipment & vehicles
14. Liaise with other branches & Branch Support Centre
15. Balance & bank daily cash receipts
16. Ensure company compliance standards are followed
17. Some lifting involved
A willingness to continue training & development is essential.
Fortnightly Pay Cycle
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
