We are looking to recruit a number of exam invigilators for the upcoming exams season to work in secondary schools in Folkestone and surrounding areas. No experience as an exam invigilator is necessary; full training will be provided.

The role of an Exam Invigilator:
1. Supervise students during examinations, ensuring a calm and orderly environment is maintained throughout.
2. Distribute and collect exam papers and materials following examination regulations and school procedures.
3. Provide clear instructions to students before, during, and after exams, addressing any queries professionally.
4. Ensure all exam conditions are adhered to, including checking student identification, enforcing time limits, and monitoring for any instances of malpractice.
5. Respond appropriately to any disruptions or emergencies, following school policies and reporting incidents as necessary.
6. Assist with the setup and preparation of examination rooms, ensuring the correct layout and materials are in place.
7. Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including attendance registers and incident reports.
8. Support students with additional needs by assisting in line with agreed access arrangements.
9. Collaborate effectively with other invigilators, exams officers, and school staff to ensure the smooth running of all examinations.
10. Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to safeguarding and data protection policies.
Requirements:
1. Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
2. CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
3. Legal right to work in the UK.
