This English tutor role will be ideal if you have previous experience in teaching, teaching assistance, SEN one-to-one, or tutoring and are looking for some flexible work. It will involve working with Primary/Secondary children in the Northampton area.
This English tutor role involves:
* Working with children with SEN needs who require face-to-face support, including those with ASD and SEMH, at their homes, care homes, or a local area (e.g., library) agreed upon with the parents/carers.
* Planning resources around the child’s needs, focusing on developing their knowledge in English.
* Managing behavior and implementing a range of behavior strategies.
What we are looking for in an English tutor:
* SEN experience (as a teaching assistant, one-to-one tutor, or in any other capacity).
* Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions.
* Skills to raise pupils’ confidence and enhance their learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the potential option to make this role permanent at a later date.
