Location: GatesheadSalary: £31,190 - £34,532 per annum (+ on-call allowance: £20-£25 per night)

What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Project Team Leader, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a Supported Housing service across multiple sites in Gateshead. You'll lead a dedicated team to provide high-quality, person-centered support to young people and new mothers, empowering them to live independently and reduce the risk of future homelessness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of Senior Support Workers, Support Workers, Relief Staff, and Volunteers to deliver exceptional support services.
* Holistic Support: Ensure all residents receive personalized mental, physical, and emotional care tailored to their individual needs.
* Safeguarding: Lead on safeguarding policies, referrals, and case management to protect vulnerable young people.
* Partnerships: Collaborate with local authorities, children’s services, and other agencies to provide the best outcomes for residents.
* Life Skills Development: Facilitate group activities, workshops, and personal development programs to help residents build confidence and independence.
* Operational Oversight: Manage budgets, health and safety compliance, housing benefit claims, and property maintenance.
* On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rota, ensuring support is available during unsocial hours.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for someone with a combination of skills, experience, and passion to lead this impactful service:
* Experience: At least two years in a senior or team leader role in supported housing, with experience in safeguarding and person-centered support.
* Knowledge: A solid understanding of issues such as homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, and domestic abuse.
* Leadership: Proven ability to motivate and manage staff, maintain professional boundaries, and build collaborative relationships with external agencies.
* Flexibility: A resilient, proactive, and empathetic approach to challenges, with excellent time-management skills to handle a varied workload.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field is essential.
