To assess the needs of women requiring colposcopy referral to ensure that they receive a clinically effective assessment, counselling, and treatment plan. Be skilled in performing LLETZ procedures or willing to train. Have sufficient knowledge and adhere to existing failsafe mechanisms in place, ensuring patient waiting times, appointments, letters, and results are managed according to NHS Cervical Screening national guidelines. With support from the Lead Nurse colposcopist, update and utilise the Non-Medical Prescribing and Patient Directions Groups, patient information leaflets and local policies/guidelines for colposcopy Attend and present cases at colposcopy multidisciplinary team meeting Ensure accurate and timely input of data onto the colposcopy database so that robust information is collected, reported, and used to improve and provide better care
