JOB OVERVIEW
We’re seeking a Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in positioning our agency in the market, driving brand awareness, and generating leads that translate into revenue.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the fantastic work we're doing, executing the marketing strategy and enhancing our agency’s reputation through creating agency thought leadership content, and ensuring our visibility in the right places at the right time. We're seeking someone who is enthusiastic, organised and detailed, possesses a positive and proactive attitude, and, most importantly, loves what they do.
It is the first time we have looked outside of the business for a role like this. Previously, the founders of D19 have been doing the work of spreading the word, creating relationships (old and new) and finding business. This role reports into the Managing Director and is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark and help shape D19’s marketing strategy and growth.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITES
* Execute Marketing Plan: Own the end-to-end delivery of the D19 marketing strategy, aimed at increasing our visibility and generating new client leads, particularly among CMOs and Marketing Directors.
* Thought Leadership: Write thought leadership content that aligns with D19’s values; identify industry trends and topics to write about to ensure D19 stays involved in current discussions.
* Awards and Industry Recognition: Identify relevant industry awards and coordinate submissions that showcase the agency’s strengths. Work cross-functionally to produce high-quality, winning entries that elevate our brand.
* Case Study Development: Oversee the creation of case studies that validate our agency’s capabilities, ensuring they reflect our market positioning and resonate with target audiences.
* Social Media Management: Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to build a strong market presence. Manage content calendars, build relationships with key media contacts, and amplify our agency’s thought leadership.
* Reporting: Deliver a monthly report on progress against KPIs. Work with leadership to adjust KPIs as needed across the year.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, business development, and product teams to align marketing initiatives with overall agency goals. Foster a collaborative culture and build excitement and participation in driving our external visibility in the market.
* External Representation: Act as the public face of Our Client at industry events, conferences, and through trade publications. Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, including media owners, potential partners, and industry bodies.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU HAVE
* 3-4 years’ experience marketing within the advertising, media or marketing industry.
* Experience in executing marketing campaigns in combination with the management of the day-to-day marketing activities.
* Proficiency in managing social media channels and PR initiatives.
* A keen eye for detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
* Strong writing skills are a must.
* Good knowledge of sales and the sales funnel, knowing how to drive awareness, consideration and conversation of senior decision makers.
* An understanding of digital channels, tools and campaign management. These include but are not limited to SEO, CRM, CMS, LinkedIn, ads, email marketing, any other lead generation tools.
* A go-getter attitude, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
