Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their growing team. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Report directly to the Sales Manager, collaborating closely with all departments and senior management. Conduct informal and formal needs assessments for each customer to recommend suitable products. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a friendly and professional service. Represent the company positively in all interactions, maintaining a neat and professional appearance. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and effectiveness. Manage customer information and sales orders accurately, utilising digital and written formats. Achieve weekly sales targets and manage customer accounts as assigned by Senior Management. Conduct outbound sales calls and mailshots to both existing and potential new customers. Provide detailed product information and updates to customers, assisting with queries and upselling opportunities. Process orders and follow up on sample requests efficiently. Operate the company's Live Chat System to assist online customers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for exhibitions, trade shows, and customer site visits across the UK.
