Dot has partnered with a £100M turnover construction group experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this Finance Manager role offers a supportive environment where you'll work closely with the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cashflow forecasting
2. Weekly wage analysis
3. Standard recharges
4. Intercompany reconciliation
5. P11D preparations
6. VAT returns & compliance
7. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations for financial accuracy and transparency
8. Manage accruals & prepayments
9. Oversee CIS processes, ensuring correct deductions, reporting, and compliance
10. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
11. Ensure accurate stock adjustments and valuations
12. Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting for strategic decision-making
13. Lead finance improvement projects, tracking and reporting progress
Key Requirements:
1. Fully or near-qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), or QBE with extensive experience
2. Strong Excel skills
3. Prior CIS experience
4. Construction industry experience is preferred, though not essential; first-time movers from practice are encouraged to apply
5. Ambitious, with a desire to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, growth-focused company
6. Strong financial acumen, with attention to accuracy and continuous improvement
The Package:
1. £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
2. 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
3. Annual bonus
4. Pension (6%)
